We are available to serve your students for the 2023-2024 school year for virtual services across the state of California and the nation and available for in-person services in Southern California. We are a California Department of Education approved NPA provider for Services from a Teacher of the Visually Impaired, Orientation and Mobility, and Braille Transcription. Below are the services we are able to provide.
Direct services include braille instruction, training in the use of braille note taking devices, services and supports in the Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC), and training for the students and staff on the utilization of assistive technology.
Orientation and Mobility Specialists who are able to work with students who are blind or visually impaired on a variety of skills that encompass safe and effective travel needs across home, school, and community settings and with an ultimate goal of independence for the student.
We provide literary braille transcription in Unified English Braille (UEB) and Nemeth Code.
